Ithaca is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ithaca follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love going to The Boatyard Grill! The atmosphere really adds to the experience. The food I would say if very comforting. I ordered the fish tacos with a side of fries, while my fiancΓ© ordered the fried fish platter. I have also ordered their lobster mac and cheese which is my fav! This is a great place to bring family or large groups.

What a conclusion to a storybook Cornell U. wedding -- we couldn't have asked for a better location, service, and support than at the BoatYard Grill. Richy - new owner - and I discussed a few weeks in advance a Sunday brunch thank you to our wedding guests. What a location - we had a grand view of the inlet to Lake Cayuga - seated at tables just inside the patio area - and opposite a buffet table set for a feast that included salads, chef's special breakfast items and crowned with a massive tray of smoked salmon. Earlier, Richy asked if I had any special requests - I admitted that I've not had English bread pudding in a long time - and it turned out to be one of the best I've had! Kudos to the Chef! Service was superb with our guests greeted with Champagne Mimosas, a great selection of local wines (Richy is quite an expert on Finger Lake Wines). In sum, I strongly recommend the BoatYard Grill for any occasion, but readers should we aware that they take special care of groups - It was a real treat at a glorious lakeside location with our guests raving about a fabulous conclusion to a memory filled wedding weekend.

The food was good although the temperature was off, it seemed as though the meal sat in the kitchen a while before being served. The calamari was good, had good flavor but was not hot. I would have liked a marinara sauce more than the mayoish aioli they serve. The steak was really thin but had good flavor but again, it was cold. The risotto almost had too much flavor, if that’s possible, but was cold.

Had the Hibiscus/gin drink, which was excellent. We sat on the veranda with a lovely view of the lake! I ordered the surf and turf, which stated shaved beef and lobster tail. The side for the lobster was lemon and butter, but tasted and had the consistency of pudding??? Upon eating the beef I discovered that it tasted, cut, and looked like liver. When I asked the waiter he got the chef who said it was impossible when she came to the table. I mentioned that I eat liver fairly regularly and am familiar with its taste and appearance . They did offer me another cut of beef, which I declined as I only wanted them to be aware of what they were serving. Mistakes can happen but was sad to see it on my celebration dinner. Pic attached of butter? And beef? You decide.

This place is really awesome! I had the chicken pasta and my partner had the gutenburger. Both were cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the waterfront view as well as the fact that we got free fresh bread with our meal. The service was great too. Highly recommend!
